Returned to my home state after a 22-year hiatus

I explored Chicago with new eyes

I visit Ann Arbor and make new friends tubing down a river

While I graduate I reminisce on what lead me to be here

I decided to cowboy camp along the bike path

My hosts are out of town so I get the place to myself

I bike with no destination and see where the day takes me

I stay on a farm in rural New York

I found a missing wallet and had a minor existential crisis

I celebrated my birthday on the road

I start the Erie Canal bike path from Albany to Buffalo

I see some familiar faces as I complete my first state

It’s my first day biking somewhere new and I am hosted by a man I found on the internet.

As I am about to leave on my journey the scale of the trip starts to weigh on me
